Jocelyn Lockhart - Director

Miss Jocelyn received her BA in Dance with a ballet emphasis from Brigham Young University.  She was honored as Dance Department Valedictorian for her graduating class.  During her four years at BYU, Miss
Jocelyn danced with Theatre Ballet Company and received both dance and academic scholarships.  In her senior year of college she received an ORCA grant for choreography.  Miss Jocelyn is an ABTŪ Certified
Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABTŪ Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABTŪ National Training Curriculum.  She opened Treasure Valley Ballet Academy in 2002. 
Miss Jocelyn and her husband have four children.

Hannah Jarvis
|
Miss Hannah received her MA Teaching Dance in the Profession from New York University.  She previously earned her BS in Health Science with an emphasis in Public Health and minor in Dance Education from BYU–Idaho.
  Miss Hannah is an ABTŪ Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABTŪ Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 7 of the ABTŪ National Training Curriculum.  Miss Hannah and her husband
have three children.

TeAwna Peterson

Miss TeAwna started dancing at the age of seven while growing up in Caldwell.  She has studied ballet, modern, tap, and jazz.  She continued her training at Brigham Young University where she earned her BA in
Dance and had the privilege of performing with Dance Ensemble and other performing groups.  Miss TeAwna has been teaching dance in the Treasure Valley since 2006 and at TVBA since 2009.  She and her husband
have four children.

Dianne Guzzle

Miss Dianne graduated from Butler University with high honors in Dance Pedagogy.  She directed The Terrace Dance Studio in Pocatello for seven years.  She was also the Artistic Director of Dance for the
Gateway Center for Theatre and Dance.  Miss Dianne is an ABTŪ Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABTŪ Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 5 of the ABTŪ National Training
Curriculum.  She has been teaching at TVBA since 2005.  Miss Dianne and her husband have four children.

Emileah Andrew

Miss Emileah began her training at Bountiful School of Ballet at the age of three.  During her last three years at the school she was a class assistant, working to further her own technique and also gaining experience
in dance instruction.  Her primary focus was in ballet, but she also trained in jazz, hip hop, and modern.  Miss Emileah has a special talent for working with dancers of all ages and has been teaching at TVBA since
2014.  She and her husband have two children.

Sofia Striegl
|
Miss Sofia began dancing at the age of four at Long Beach Ballet Academy.  She also spent summers training with American Ballet Theatre, The Rock School for Dance Education, and Ballet West.  Following graduation,
she spent two years studying with Grand Rapids Ballet before moving to Idaho to continue her training.  Miss Sofia is now a Company Artist with BI.  She has taught ballet at various schools in California and Idaho and
is excited to begin working with TVBA students this year!

Lilliana Comstock

Miss Lilliana started dancing at the age of two in Las Vegas.  She studied many forms of dance with a primary focus on ballet.  She gained teaching experience as a class assistant at Las Vegas Dance Academy and has
also taught at various studios in Last Vegas.  Miss Lilliana danced with Nevada Ballet Theatre II last season and recently moved to Idaho to continue her ballet studies as a trainee at BI.  She also attends UNLV online
as a marketing major.  We are excited to welcome Miss Lilliana to TVBA!

McKenna Palmer
|
Miss McKenna began her dance training at the age of seven with Treasure Valley Ballet Academy.  Later as an upper-level student she gained teaching experience as a class assistant.  After graduation she attended
Anderson University in Indiana as a Dance Major while completing the conservatory program at Ballet 5:8.  Miss McKenna then became a trainee with Fort Wayne Ballet.  This past summer, she attended RDAs
National Choreographer Intensive as an emerging choreographer.  We are excited to welcome Miss McKenna back to TVBA as an instructor!
